October Update

Oh my gosh....I have not been on here since I started my new job. I like this blog.....anyway hope everyone is well and I will try and upload pictures soon.

Skyler and Drew

We went to a friends daughters softball game and the boys had so much fun. They made friends and played outside the whole game and even cheered Brianna on....too cute.

They are growing up so fast and we cherish every moment with them. (Even when they are screaming...hahaha)

The Lockard Family Update

Drew just turned Three and I can't believe it. Skyler is fast approaching Five and he is so ready for school. He is all signed up and can't wait to start in August. James and I are so happy to have such an awesome family and our friends are amazing too.

Drew's birthday party was so fun and we are so happy how it turned out:) Thank you to all who came and enjoyed the day with him.

Skyler!

Skyler was so funny this day...we were at a birthday party for my Friends two son's. It was present time for the boys. Skyler got himself all situated to be able to view each present being opened and then proceeded to tell me...."Ohhhh Mommy....I want that for my birthday or for Christmas...whatever comes first!" hahahaha....kids will be kids...they have to keep up with the Jones' in the toy department....or so they think:)

Drew's Blanket

Drew loves his blanket so much that he drags it around the house and as you can see even outside:) Needless to say I am constantly washing it:) He came outside after his nap one afternoon and said "Night Night Mommy" Skyler and I laughed and Drew was pretending to snore...it was pretty funny:)

We are so lucky:)

Skyler and Drew are just so smart and funny. James and I are so happy and proud of our two boys. They make us laugh all the time and we just really have fun with them. Even though Skyler may think he knows everything and Drew gets into everything, they are our world. We really appreciate them and each other so much!

So the top picture of Skyler was on a nice day when their Daddy got home early and bought them Ice Cream bars from the Ice Cream man:) And he had his crown on from BK....he said to me "I'm a king....a king of Ice Cream" So cute:)

And the one of Drew under that....well...funny story. Skyler woke me up one morning and said...."Mommy, where's Drew?" So I jumped up and ran into the kitchen and there was Drew on the counter eating a jelly filled donut from the Sunday before (Daddy bought donuts for breakfast) And so here's Drew...."Mmmmmm....yummy!" I had to get the camera and all I could do is laugh:)

My boys and Husband

So since I was laid off in October it has been really nice to be able to spend this time with my family. It is wonderful to be able to do so much with my boys and get to be home early in the afternoon if James gets off work early. We have been going out on our boat and BBQ'ing alot (geez...you'd think we thought it was summer already) My point is....it sucks I got laid off but things happen for a reason and for the above reasons I am glad to be at home:) However I am looking for work and took a state office technician exam and passed so hopefully I can get on with the state.

My Big Boys!

It is funny when people will volunteer this peice of advice to you "It goes so fast, enjoy this age while it lasts" and you think to your self "Yeah Yeah...whatever!" Well for me this statement rings true. I can not believe how big my boys are and Skyler starting school and Drew about to be Three....James and I enjoy them daily, hourly and even by the minute. They are amazing children and we could not be happier:)

"Town Cozy"

So the boys started the other day to push all of our bedding off my bed in between the wall and make a mountain of blankets. Skyler has named this game (where they jump and bury themselves) "Town Cozy" James and I must have laughed at that for an hour. They now do this daily....so I don't even try to make the bed everyday anymore. But hey...they are having fun:)

So these are their recent photos....my stupid scanner is broken....anyway...they are getting so big and I love them so much:) They are so funny and a joy to be around...unless they are tired...hahaha:)

My boys

My boys are at such a fun age right now. James just got Skyler another Honda 50...so now he has two Honda 50's....spolied:) Skyler starts school in August....I can't believe it. And Drew is doing really great with Speech. It seems to be helping tremendously, and he is getting so tall. They are really cool and I enjoy them very much:)

The New Year

Skyler got into his "Fancy" Shirt one New Years Eve and was so cute. Drew and him were crazy boys but didn't make it to midnight. They went to bed by 10pm. I hope this New Year brings better hope for all and more jobs for this poor state of California.

Happy New Year

I hope everyone has a great year. This last year was very hard for my family but we made it to a new year. Also today is mine and James' 6th year Anniversary:) So today is a good day:) We are going to the park with the boys. Then tomorrow the boys are going to daycare and we get to go to sushi and the movies:) And I can't wait:)
